The Picture and the Process

The things we desire and admire in people could be beautiful to the eyes

Yet there was a process that produced the beauty we celebrate, you can get lost in celebrating, but celebration alone is not sufficient to create the realities in our lives

There’s a path to every destination
There is a process to every result
There are steps to every solution

Good things don’t always happen to people
Many times they are produced by a conscious, intentional application of our minds to achieving them or to preparing ourselves to receive them

A beautiful home takes two aware, willing, and deliberate adults who have the desired picture and some knowledge of the direction they are required to take to arrive at the beautiful home they desire

A successful business takes a person or persons who are aware of the sacrifices and transitions required to arrive at the vision that categorizes them as successful

Successful football teams were made up of willing players (followers) committed coaches and management (leaders) with a clear desire and method needed for arriving at their desire,

it also involved showing up irrespective of circumstances, every joint supplying, there are days where losses would be recorded and other long seasons of victory…

Yet the pictures never change

The examples are endless, yet the lessons are the same, nothing appears from the blues, and fantasy is never sufficient.

There’s the ease that is added to the process when we are properly guided by the examples we look at

But it’s just for the period of guidance, the mud is inevitable, the mess is unavoidable, and the exhaustion may be occasional, but Rome that wasn’t built in a day was built by the sweat of laborers and the resources of the state

There’s always a cost to pay, there are always habits to pick, deaths to die, lessons to learn, handling to master, and cultures to embrace, otherwise, we will find ourselves turning in a spot endlessly or destroying every good thing that comes our way

Life is a process
Yet life is still a picture

The process can never be separated from the picture, the stumbles and obstacles are the fundamental raw materials required to ensure that when the desired pictures are fully formed, they would last and be preserved

And the pictures we celebrate are a guide that keeps our focus set, a measure for our efforts at conformity, and a marker that tells us when we have arrived at our destination.
