The just concluded general elections in Nigeria set me on a path of meditation, regarding our role as believers in today’s world! We have had enough of mediocrity! Rise to the top of every career you occupy

Dear Believer,

Drop the false humility that makes you avoid the limelight and rise into the prominence required for you to be relevant in God’s kingdom.

If your calling is in education,

Take that MSc, Ph.D., and become a professor, aim for the VC position, tomorrow you may be the Moses that will lead a People out of Egypt by what you insist on when you become the Collation officer in a state election or national election.

Today our professors as collation officers have become the gateways that usher in darkness or light into a city

If you’re a security operative,

uniformed or not, paramilitary or regular, rise to the top of your career, and strive for excellence, tomorrow it may be your gun or your order that will stop the tide of darkness from progressing in an unknown land, or stop the devil from seating on a political throne.

Even after your retirement, you will have a voice, relevant to the Kingdom’s advancement.

If you’re in the judiciary,

Strive to grow your reputation for the kingdom’s sake, become the Head of the Chamber, become a SAN, become a Judge,(I realize we ignore places with the most power and rest for places with more gain).

Aim for the Supreme court, if it’s the kingdom you want!

Tomorrow you may be the only good egg whose decision will restore the mandate for a Righteous Leader and the destiny of a nation will be delivered on your shoulders.

If you’re into politics,

Don’t be satisfied with licking politicians’ feet, grow your reputation, serve diligently, take every opportunity to rise within the party ranks, be the councilor, be the local government chairman in the backlands where you are unknown, get closer to the palace with each step, aim for authority.

Aim for the throne, and establish a dynasty of righteousness when you get into every position.

Enough of the mediocrity! We must rise to prominence, this election has shown that the people of God need to revisit their strategy.

If you’re in business,

Grow, expand, and have influence, such that the government cannot overlook your voice, and desire the economic might that will ensure that your body posture can determine the next leader without words.

There are so many more relevant professions that have determined whether darkness thrives or is held back in the nation

Enough of the mediocrity, prosperity includes economic power but it is not limited to it!
There’s more!

Certain professions do not require finances alone to be relevant.

We have learned to pray,
We have learned to fast,
We operate in the prophetic,

The prophets need kings and people to bear the prophecy on their shoulders, and God will not become a man to do the part he has committed to us.

It’s time to end petty arguments on social media, and cowardly hiding behind our phones, or in the safety of our streets and offices, It’s time to be intentional! It’s time to Rise!

Guns are no longer attractive, wars are fought differently today.

“Wars are fought by relevance, influence, affluence, networks, economy, authority, placement, skill, appointment, position, affiliation, relationship, track record, access, etc”

Enough of the mediocrity!

Dear Believer,

Being Lukewarm may also imply your indecision to be actively on the Lord’s side with what he has committed to you as your tool or contribution to the kingdom… it may not be only about what we have always thought! We have sat in the church for a long time praying for a world that needs our intervention.

With 0.01 percent of the knowledge we have, we can turn the world upside down.. starting from Jerusalem. We have everything in the church, that Nigeria needs, but maybe we are a bit late to the party because we haven’t risen up.

But Now we rise in the name of the Lord. To bring heaven on earth in Jesus’s Name.
Amen

No To Mediocrity!
