But first of all…
Dear Nigerian students,
It’s one year before the elections

You have been at home for 14 weeks, you are stranded and confused, and you don’t know what the future holds for you if you don’t complete this phase of your life.

Sighs…

Do you realize that you have a government? And that they have blatantly ignored your welfare, and your future just to campaign for the next four years of your future, while leaving you in a hopeless state of uncertainty?

Dear Nigerian students,
It’s one year before the elections

You have been at home for 14 weeks, you are stranded and confused, and you don’t know what the future holds for you if you don’t complete this phase of your life.

Sighs…

Do you realize that you have a government? And that they have blatantly ignored your welfare, and your future just to campaign for the next four years of your future, while leaving you in a hopeless state of uncertainty?

Do you realize that the very people who want your votes have not put in a single word to the government they serve to facilitate your return to school?

Do you realize that they don’t think you’re that important, and have you thought to check if their children are on this strike with you?

Do you realize that ASUU is demanding some Naira for your welfare and a public office holder was caught stealing 80bn? Do you realize that it takes nothing but a human heart to turn these funds to ASUU?

Don’t you think it’s an insult and a disregard of your relevance, to see all these figures flying around in campaigns and vote soliciting, by the very people you put in power? Using your country’s money?

Full fraud story here…

Sighs…
They don’t care about you.
But what will you do about it?

Have you lost your honor?
Have you lost your dignity?

I am sorry but…
Have you lost your SANITY????
Are you Okay with this level of disregard?
How MUCH is your future?

Exhales…

Dear Nigerians…

Take some time and chronicle for yourself the damage going on in this country and place it side by side with the priority of the people who serve you as leaders in your state and federal offices…

Don’t you deserve better?

Are you so unconscious of the value you have?
Are you okay with being called and treated as slaves by the people you gave power to?

Who did this to you?

Did you see the children that were blown up in Kano? If you have a child, turn around and look at them, picture their faces dripping with blood, their garments stained with debris, or possibly their lifeless bodies lying side by side with that of a suicide bomber…

Sighs.

How do you feel?
Happy or cheerful at the visuals in your mind?

There’s no justice…

Deborah might have died
But the same silence that followed her murder is the same silence that is responsible for the decimation and destruction going on in the northeast, middle belt, and the southeast,

I intentionally started with the northeast to call your attention to the fact that, though it may have underlying religious tones, it is far far far more than religion.

It’s a case of insensitive and greedy slave masters in leadership positions…

If it was solely about religion, the northern part of the country would be the most developed region… Or the South during Goodluck’s or the West during Obasanjo’s tenures…

Sighs…

The quality of men you have chosen as your leaders is a reflection of the psychological and mental damage you are a victim of …also, your choice of leaders could be a reflection of your knowledge of the value and respect you believe is due to you.

The country and the leaders it has had, have so damaged our dreams and pictures so Badly that it takes something out of the ordinary to restore or paint a picture of what the ideal situation should be.

Dear Nigerians…
You have suffered enough.

Do you want your children to suffer as much or even more?

Every single politician holding an office right now has blood-stained hands, either because of their direct involvement or their negligence, or their inability to confront the system that serves them at the cost of their personal ambitions.

Yes, Everyone!!!!
All of them!!!

Dear Nigerians…

You have been known to be resolute, you continuously evolve and adjust to damning socio-political situations that are almost inhabitable to human existence.

But could it be that that energy could be turned in a more productive direction, imagine these efforts you put in daily used in an ideal economy and socio-political situation…

You would thrive!!!

They have spent decades trying to shut down your ability to dream and see a future you deserve.

But now is the time…

Now is another opportunity
To give yourself the 8 years that could turn your life and that of your generations around.

History will judge you for every decision you make in this do-or-die moment in Nigeria’s History and Existence.

Let hope rise…
But dear Nigerian, You have to rise!!!

And you have to hold the hand of every Nigerian who is so deeply immersed in this slavery and be the eyes through which they will see the hope you see.

That Nigeria will be great again if we all rise up against these colonialists in brotherly color, called POLITICIANS…

You’re not helpless.
You’re powerful because you have a choice to choose who leads you.

Choose for the future and not the present.
