Have we failed our children?

I was having a conversation this morning with doctor Friend of mine about the status of Nigeria and our justification to be upset

We had just finished watching a video:

I AM NOT CORRUPT

and our musings seemed like what should be shared,

So we realized that many times we lose touch of the situation of our country because we are engrossed in our daily pursuits and survival

We are known to be very adaptable, certain research I don’t have reference to, once stated that Nigerians are one of the most adaptable people in the world

We adjust and continuously adjust to adverse living and societal conditions

This feeling was actually a build-up, I realized early this morning that as we speak we have become accustomed to hearing the news of a death or two around the country, deaths which are usually a direct consequence of our inability to hold leaders accountable and a consequence of a decayed system

We celebrate the government for providing amenities and normal global standard Expectations of a democratic government

We are gradually heading on a decline, ideologically and societally, if we haven’t already arrived there totally but for a few witnesses

Have we failed our children?

I find that a lot of good people have resigned to believe that our collective fate as a country is self-destruction

I can’t fully capture what upset me, I could write a book, but maybe it will imply that I am focused on the wrong reality

I will look towards becoming a solution in my niche.

Perhaps, the Lot effect in the Bible effect will happen in due time
